  • How do I consign with UBet Auctions? 1

    If you have items that you would like to auction please email Info@ubetauctions.com or text (604) 219-1236 with some pictures and a short description of your item. If the item meets our criteria, we will have you drop it off at our White Rock or Langley location. We also offer pick up on smaller items for a fee depending on your location. 
  • How do I get paid for my items sold on UBet Auctions? 1

    Once an item is sold, we will e-transfer or send a cheque for the sale amount minus any seller’s fees within 10 days of sale.
  • I have a business that I am closing, am doing a large move or clean out, or I have an estate to sell. 1

    UBet Auctions will do specialty auctions without requiring you to move or deliver any items. We will come to you, take photos of the items and once the items have been sold at auction, we will facilitate a day and time for the buyers to pick up the items directly from your home or business. 
  • Can I view the items before bidding on them? 1

    At this time UBet Auctions is a purely online auction. If you require any additional pictures or videos of items, please request these by email at info@ubetauctions.com and we will do our best to accommodate this request.
  • What is a proxy bid and how do I place one? 1

    A proxy bid gives the buyer an option to set a maximum price that they are willing to pay for an item and the system will automatically bid anytime someone places a bet, up to the maximum amount you have set. Other buyers will not be able to see the maximum proxy bid you have set. To place a proxy bid, add your maximum price to the box listed “proxy bid” under the bid price. 
  • What is UBet’s return policy? 1

    All online items are sold in “as is” condition.  A limited guarantee is offered on electronic items and allows the winning Bidder to confirm the electronics are in working order and delivered without any passwords that restrict the use and enjoyment of the device. If you purchase an electronic device, you have 48 hours to test and confirm the device has power and isn’t restricted by any passwords, after that the sale will be final. All sales are final unless a gross error in the description has been made. Any disputes must be made within 48 hours of receiving the item. No returns will be accepted without a valid return authorization from UBET Auctions. UBET Auctions will not refund above and beyond the original purchase price.
  • Does UBet have a shipping option? Where do I pick up? 1

    UBet currently does not offer shipping on any won items. The pick-up location of each item will be listed in the item’s description. All large items must be picked up at our Langley location. Small item pickup will be in White Rock. If you prefer to pick up your small items in Langley, please email info@UBetauctions.com to arrange this once you have won your item.

  • What are the buyer’s fees and responsibilities? 1

    There will be a buyer’s fee of 15% on all items plus applicable GST and PST. Buyers must pick up their item within 48 hours of the winning bid. If the item is not picked up in time, we will automatically charge your credit card on file. The buyer has one week to pick up the item before it becomes the property of UBet Auctions. Please do not bid on something you cannot pick up. Bids cannot be reversed once placed. Please contact info@ubetauctions.com for any additional questions or concerns.
  • What are the sellers fees and responsibilities? 1

    There will be a sellers fee of 28% OF THE SALE PRICE FOR ITEMS SOLD BETWEEN $1.00 – $499.00 

                             18% OF THE SALE PRICE FOR ITEMS SOLD BETWEEN $500.00 – $999.00 

                             12% OF THE SALE PRICE FOR ITEMS SOLD FOR $1000 AND UP 

    A $5 listing fee will be charged to the seller on all lots that do not sell. To consign with UBet Auctions please email us at info@UBetAuctions.com. Items that are not sold will have to be picked up within 48 hours of the closing auction. Items that are not picked up will become the property of UBet Auctions and will be sold at a later auction or thrown out. Sellers will be paid for their items sold within 10 days of the auction closing. We can offer payment by e-transfer or mailed cheque. IN NO EVENT SHALL UBET AUCTIONS BE LIABLE TO SELLER FOR ANY INDIRECT DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AUCTION. UBet Auctions cannot guarantee a closing bid price and there is a risk to not get the profit that the seller desires. UBet Auctions is not responsible for any compensation above and beyond the sale price to the seller. An item may not be withdrawn from auction by the consignee without consent from Ubet Auctions.
